Our Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed par 71 golf course was built around a 20-acre nature preserve and is one of the few walkable courses in the area. "I take tremendous pride in the design work done at Kensington Golf& Country Club over the years, starting with the original course in 1994 and followed by the renovation in 2006. Now, we have completely reinvigorated and updated the golf course, in concert with our strategic design philosophies. We introduced additional fairway width to enhance tee shot strategies on every hole, while providing players of all skill levels more options for recovery. We call this – “boosting the fun factor” - throughout the golf experience.
Kensington is very avant-garde for its time. We used local coquina shell sand for sandy waste areas, routed play through a cypress preserve, incorporated both the bunkers and traditional water hazards of Florida, and created highly shaped playing features to present what we hope is an always fascinating golfing challenge. I've long had relatives in the Naples area and Kensington continues to be touchstone when I am fortunate enough to visit the Gulf Coast.”

When we visited Kensington, the General Manager greeted us warmly, showed us the facilities and answered our questions. He then introduced us to our "Ambassador" Members who would play a round of golf with us.
